Our AGMs for IWPP and The Recycling Association were held on 21 May 2024 at Belton Woods Hotel, Spa and Golf Resort in Lincolnshire.
This was followed by the President’s Day where activities included golf, country pursuits (laser clay pigeon shooting, archery and duck herding) and the option of spa treatments.
In the evening, the President’s Dinner included a drinks reception, three-course meal and then a charity casino. A total of £1,820 was raised for the President Craig Curtis’ charity Willow.
At the President’s Dinner, the Presidency of The Recycling Association was handed over from Craig Curtis to Celine Grant and the new Vice President Colin Clarke was welcomed.
The President’s Dinner also saw the awarding of the inaugural President’s Award. Trevor Williams from Biffa was given the Award by Craig Curtis for his outstanding achievements in the recycling industry during his career.
But then our new President Celine Grant had decided to give her first Award to outgoing President Craig Curtis for his service to The Recycling Association.
