Craig Robinson
Chief Executive of The Recycling Association Ltd
Craig Robinson is the Chief Executive of The Recycling Association and Secretary of UKSSA.
Craig has been involved in the recycling sector since 2002 holding a number of senior/director commercial roles within paper and packaging manufacturing, sorting, reprocessing, trading, and exporting.
He joined The Recycling Association in June 2026 and formally became Chief Executive on 17th August 2026.
Chris Burton
Managing Director of IWPP Ltd
After a commercial career in general waste management, Chris joined IWPP Ltd as Commercial Manager in 2011 and was promoted to the board of directors in 2016. He became managing director in 2023. Chris has overseen the evolution of the trading company to complement the global trade flows of recycled materials and has delivered the strategic European market focus of the company. On a day-to-day basis, Chris balances the supplies of fibre with regulatory quality standards while providing members and others with a reliable and competitive service.
Donna Sanderson
Donna joined The Recycling Association in 2010 as an administration clerk and is now the shipping manager with the particular focus on ensuring the smooth running of the trading company. Donna has overseen the smooth transition of European exports in the post-Brexit environment and provides valuable support to the CEO with the day to day running of The Recycling Association.
Lee Thickett
Head of UK Operations, IWPP
Lee has over 15 years’ experience in the recycling industry, managing multiple operations and contracts across the UK. Lee’s commercial and operational knowledge of working with recovered paper suppliers, hauliers and shippers allied to his administrative experience of managing the flows of recovered paper into the UK and export market, is invaluable for the efficient operation of IWPP. Lee also supports the Traqa business coordinating load site integration and system testing.
